Hometown Heroes · Our give-back

Somebody on Your Street Deserves This.

Every season, we design and install one free custom holiday lighting display for a deserving local household. You tell us who. We bring the lights.

Why we do it

Some Houses Need a Little Extra Light.

We've all been through a lot these past few years. Some families more than most — the caregivers, the first responders, the neighbors quietly holding everything together. Hometown Heroes is our way of saying: this season, the community's got you.

Each year, we pick one nominated household in our service area and give them the full Lipham treatment, completely free — custom design, professional installation, all-season maintenance, and takedown. The same display our paying clients get. No strings, no fine print.

It's the best install we do all year. Every year.

How to nominate

Three Steps. Five Minutes.

  1. 1

    Think of your Hero

A family or household in South Lake County who could use a brighter season — that's the only requirement. It can be a neighbor, a coworker, family, or someone you've never met but can't stop thinking about.

  2. 2

    Tell us their story

Call or text (407) 349-3490, or message us on Facebook. A few sentences about who they are and why this season matters is plenty.

  3. 3

    Share the program

The more nominations we get, the better the pick. Share our Hometown Heroes post so the right household gets found — that share might be the reason someone's December looks different.

Nominations are read personally by Colton. Every single one.

Common questions

Hometown Heroes, Answered

Who can be nominated?

Any deserving household in our South Lake County service area — Clermont, Montverde, Minneola, Winter Garden, and nearby. There's no formal criteria beyond that; tell us their story and let it speak.

Is it really completely free?

Yes. The chosen family pays nothing — design, lights, install, maintenance, and takedown are all on us. It's the same full-service display our clients pay for.

Can I nominate my own family?

You can — though nominations from neighbors and friends tell us a lot. Either way, don't be shy. The whole point is finding the household that needs it most.

When do nominations close?

We select before install season kicks into gear, so nominate in the fall — early enough for us to design and build the display before the holidays.
